Sandra Gea is a French-Spanish self-taught artist of analogue collage (b.1978), currently based in Andalusia, Spain.

To this day, she's been cutting pictures with a precious pair of scissors, a thank-you gift from a travelling master cutler to her eight-year-old self for refilling his water bottle.

Her thought-provoking artworks infused with the spirit of dada celebrate innocence, wilderness and sensuality of the feminine body as natural states of being, overshadowed by sociocultural conditioning.

In her artistic practice and work as a mentor, collage becomes a transformative and integrative medium to honour the personal mythology.

She has exhibited across Europe and in the USA in group exhibitions. Her works are in private collections worldwide and have been featured in multiple international publications such as Art Reveal, Kolaj Magazine and Maintenant Dada Magazine. In 2018, she illustrated the haiku collection In an Unknown Land written by Greek poet Kostas Linnos.
